Davis turns ONE!

Yep, Just now getting this post complete!!  2013, I promise to be better!!

Davis is a JOY, so funny and sweet just like his sister.  I really feel blessed with these two amazing children.  The poor guy has been sick basically every month since 4 months old, but that doesn't seem to shake his personality too much.  He really doesn't complain.  Jarrid and I laugh that the only reason we know he is off is because he doesnt smile as much as he usually does.  Ear infections have plagued this little man, he was also very hard of hearing so on December 20th he received tubes and so far so good on the ears! It is amazing how much more he is talking now.  He says things like "Bye" "Bye Daddy" "Hi Daddy" "All done" "whats that" "Hi" so cute, and he babbles all the time with things that dont make sense but sound like a sentence to me! Gianna used to do the same, so funny.  He is still trying to get walking down.  He takes a few steps then drops to the ground and uses his speed crawling to get where he needs to be.  He is seriously so fast!!
We enjoyed a 1st Birthday Celebration/Baptism in Tomales in November. Unfortunately illness was upon Mommy and Daddy this time, and we struggled through the day with the stomach flu, seriously painful!!!! ugh!  Davis really enjoyed it though and especially loved when everyone sang Happy Birthday, adorable!!
Godparents are Gino Bordessa(Jarrids Brother) and Godmother Kandice Davis (my Sister in Law) ..... need to grab the pictures from the church from Grammy to add later! :)
Stats: Currently Davis weighs 22 pounds and is 30.5 inches tall, very long and lean.

Gianna's 4th Birthday!!

We celebrated Gianna's 4th Birthday at the park in Tomales on her birthday after school with all her friends.  She loved it, we had a face painter and did hot dogs and snacks for the kids, great way to spend her special day!!  She was very surprised to see the park all decorated for her after school!! :)

Preschool starts and Davis-months 10 & 11

We are back in business!!  Now, the proud owners of a MacBook Pro, and boy I feel like a new woman, Happy Anniversary/Merry Christmas to us! :)  Our HP died in September and we've been having trouble getting it back to its fully restored self (hence no Blog update in 3 months, yikes! ) So, after just 4 years with that one, we've decided to become an APPLE household, and I am adjusting fine, LOL!

Preschool started back on August 29th and Gianna has been loving every minute.  She continues to thrive in school, and cant wait to get up and dressed to go each morning.  This year she goes Tuesday- Friday.  Next year we will move on the Kindergarden, I really cant believe that!  I want her to be that little 3 year old forever, but thats not possible unfortunately! :(  She also did swim for 2 months this summer and early fall and really loved it, she improved so much this year, we were very proud of her.

Month 10 & 11 for baby Davis consisted of lots of speed crawling(he is seriously so fast) a few more teeth making the total 6 and eating more and more.  He continues to be a good sleeper taking naps in the morning and in the afternoon and goes down at 7:30pm and up around 6:30am-7am in the morning.  He goes to My Little Farm Tuesday and Wednesday and we have a wonderful sitter named Rosie here with him on Mondays and Thursdays.  And wonderful Grammy continues to help out on Fridays.  Its complicated, but working well, so many moving parts with one in school and an infant schedule.  He is still struggling with quite a few ear infections, so after his first birthday we will consult with a specialist on whether or not to do tubes.  Poor guy.
